>> On 2nd December 1997, Fujian Shine Science & Technology Co., Ltd was established in FuzhouCity of FujianProvince. The company is mainly engaged in the development of application software for the financial and securities industries in China.
>> In March 1998, SHINE and the Shanghai Branch of CSDCC jointly developed the Participant Remote Operating Platform (PROP). In December 1998, the Shenzhen Branch of CSDCC also commissioned SHINE to develop the Capital Settlement System Terminal (CSST). In the same year, the Shanghai Branch and Shenzhen Branch of CSDCC required their market participants to handle the primary clearing electronically through the above platform, thereby quickly increasing SHINE’s market share in the segment of primary clearing of securities in China. Meanwhile, SHINE commenced its development of secondary clearing software and succeeded in launching Shine Securities Management System in November 1998.
>> In June 1999, SHINE was accredited as the “Fujian Hi-Holding Enterprise” by the Steering Committee for Scientific and Technological Developments of Fujian Province.
>> In June 2000, SHINE developed Shine Integrated Securities Management Platform (E-SIM). Real-time automatic clearing and deposit processes among dealer entities, the Shanghai Branch and Shenzhen Branch of CSDCC, clearing banks and the respective sales departments were first implemented in China, increasing the efficiency of the dealers in the clearing of securities funds.
>> In August 2000, based on the Participant Remote Operating Platform as its prototype, the Participant Remote Operating Platform 2000 (Network Version) was launched, with significant improvements in scalability, connectivity and reliability. SHINE’s products became more popular and positive feedbacks were received from users.
>> In April 2001, SHINE was accredited as one of the first eight software enterprises in FujianProvince. Based on CSST as its prototype, the development of the Integrated Settlement Terminal with improved modularization level and flexibility in upgrade, was completed in September.
>> In January 2002, SHINE was awarded the Certificate of ISO9001 Quality Management System Authentication.
>> In April 2002, SHINE became the observer of the SIITA of the Securities Association of China.
>> In October 2002, SHINE and the Shanghai Branch of CSDCC jointly developed and promoted the Participant Remote Operating Platform (PROP ListCo Version). The promotion of the product further expanded clientele of PROP in the securities market in China.
>> In March 2003, SHINE obtained the Third Grade Certificate in Computer and Information System Integration.
>> In August 2003, SHINE was listed on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The listing aroused widespread attention from investors.
>> In 2004, leveraging on its knowledge and insight in the securities industry and its Technological edges developed over the years, SHINE continues to develop new series of products such as Shine Securities Risk Management and Audit System, Shine Centralized Wealth and Asset Management Platform, Securities Brokerage Business Management Platform, covering areas including the restructuring of business process of dealers, customer relationship management, knowledge management, risk management and financial engineering.
